1. Puffs Plus Lotion – Vicks Scented!
Tis the season. Cold season, that is. If you haven’t tried Vicks scented Puffs yet, prepare to be blown away (see what I did there?). You can literally feel your sinuses clearing out as you blow your nose in these. There’s a reason this is number one on my list. Trust me, you’ll never go back to normal Kleenex again.
2. JCrew Coatigan
Every time I wear this, I get approximately 1000 questions on where I got it. This coatigan (cross between coat and cardigan) is the perfect layer to get you through those colder days when you don’t quite feel like wearing a coat yet. The fabric is super cozy like a sweater, but it can also add instant polish to any outfit you throw it over.
3. Christmas Pajamas
If you need a cute and classic pair of Christmas pajamas for the whole family, these red striped ones from Petite Plume are my absolute favorite! I just bought the next size up for Lulu so that we can re-wear them again this year.
4. Superfood Protein Powder
Need a high quality protein powder that’s plant based and packed full of nutrients to boot? I’m a super fan of this superfood powder by Ka’Chava. It’s not just protein, it also has adaptogens, antioxidants, omega-3s, fiber, and super greens. It’s one of the few things I actually feel good about giving my kid as a quick meal replacement on the go. Most importantly, it tastes amazing!
5. Hidden Potential by Adam Grant
I love a good social science book, and this was a very inspirational read. It’s full of stories of people who overcame major setbacks and obstacles to success, often in a non-traditional way and often later in life. It’s honestly so refreshing to hear about people floundering when they were supposed to be in their “prime” and finally succeeding after years of struggle. If you’re like me and tired of hearing about child prodigies. It’s nice to know it’s not too late for the rest of us haha.
6. Microwave Flower Press
My family is constantly rolling their eyes at me when we go on walks now because I compulsively pick up every pretty leaf I find to take home and zap with this baby. You just put your plants between the layers and microwave for 20 seconds and voila! Perfectly preserved leaves in all their fall glory. The microwave also preserves the color better than traditional methods of flower pressing. They look super pretty in a frame and can be used in all sorts of arts and crafts projects.
7. Lalo Paw-Patrol Art Smock
Lulu is obsessed with Paw Patrol art, so when I saw this art smock from Lalo I added to cart faster than Chase gets on the case (and if you don’t get that reference… lucky you). I love that it has her favorite characters but the print is small and subtle. Lalo also makes non-Paw Patrol art smocks just fyi. is an essential for all those indoor painting/crafting sessions during those long winter months.
8. DIY Felted Play Food Kit
Another recent obsession of mine, making felted play food. It’s honestly SO fun! I found these kits online that have everything you need to make play food: pre cut felt pieces, thread, needles, and instructional videos. I totally get why people love knitting and crocheting. There’s something so relaxing and fun about making stuff with your hands, and at the end of it all, I have this adorable play food for Lulu’s kitchen!
